Meara MacGregor is Hannah's friend from middle school. They have been friends through many life changes. She lives in Chicago with her son, named Quinton, and her husband, Logan.

We are planning to run shuttles between our The Royal Sonesta in River North and the conservatory both before and after our wedding and reception. The CTA Green Line runs directly to the conservatory--just get off on the Conservatory-Central Park Drive stop. You should be able to see the conservatory from the stop. Parking- there is a parking lot on the south side of the building. This parking is available for guests that choose to drive. This lot is staffed by a security guard.

Summer Formal

Our dress code is Summer Formal. In simple terms this means midi or ankle length dresses in light formal fabrics. This dress code also includes suits in lightweight fabrics, or slacks with a dress shirt. Bright colors and floral patterns are encouraged.

Notes on Venue

We want guests to consider a few things about our venue when they are choosing attire. There are many uneven paths, please be mindful of footwear and be cautious when walking. The spaces will likely be warm and humid. We would like guests to prioritize comfort over style. Check the weather in advance. Chicago's weather is unpredictable. It possible that the day could be 100F or 70F. We have covered spaces in the event of rain.

We have rooms available at the Royal Sonesta River North. There are two Royal Sonestas in downtown Chicago, we have room blocks for the River North location at 505 N State Street. There are other paid parking options within a few blocks of the Sonesta. If you would like to stay elsewhere we would recommend that you stay in our downtown neighborhoods; the Loop, River North, Gold Coast, and Lakeshore East. These neighborhoods are close to sightseeing, museums, restaurants, and public transportation options.
